As you can probably guess the MyPlate was not the first attempt at a modern redesign. Many, many designs were attempted to fit every lifestyle, but they can’t work for everyone, so here are some of the lifestyle pyramids the FDA did not approve. [Via EgoTV]

If you haven’t, then please enjoy one of the most delicious graphics ever seen. “Fig. 40: The Anatomy of a Cupcake” is a collaboration between designer/illustrator Sarah Wilson and photographer Allen Hemberger. What started as a 40th birthday present for a baker friend soon turned into a very popular poster. There is now a “the making of…” video (down below) and prints (should you want one) are available here.

Most of them are Cliff Huxtable’s iconic sweaters but (gasp!) he didn’t always wear one, so the rest of the Huxatables fill in from time-to-time. The are plenty of upper-middle class 80′s fashions to go around here, folks. And, seeing as the artist is only in the middle of season 2, there are plenty more to come. [Via Trendland]

The healer needs to have healing numbers high enough to keep your tank alive. Your tank needs hit points and defense skills high enough to survive massive attacks. Damage-dealers need to do enough damage to kill the enemies before your healer’s magic runs out. You beat the enemies and you collect their items to make your other numbers increase. And on and on it goes.

But there are other numbers – numbers from behind the scenes like: How many people play the game? Where do they live? How many servers does it take to run WoW in the first place? How much does that cost? Video Game Colleges found out, and they made this infographic. [Via The Escapist]
