I’ve heard of man caves before but this is the first time I’ve heard of a man nest.
As part of his degree show, Gareth Fitzpatrick at Edinburgh College of Art suspended himself from a gallery ceiling and set about weaving an enormous birds nest. Entitled We’ve a man nest, Fitzpatrick says that his inspiration for his works comes from natural history, anthropology and the origins of belief systems.
